We have been on an amazing journey the last couple of years, and it is continuing! That is why we need you to join us in our newly created role as Business Development Manager _ Electronics, South China (Shenzhen)

Reporting to National Sales Director, you will aggressively drive new customer acquisition through outreach to prospects not already in our pipeline. The primary responsibility in your role is to hunt for new opportunities based on a targeted strategy of potential prospects in South China. You develop and maintain your strategy in conjunction with your manager and marketing, but you have ownership of the implementation and realization.


Some of the tasks we expect will fill up your calendar are

  • Focus on generating and engaging new customers in the electronic industry in South of China.
  • Generate new leads by cold call to the target end-users and qualify leads by identifying end-customer’s and offering UR Cobot-based solutions.
  • Qualify self-generated leads by using articulating pain points and scheduling follow up meetings
  • Convert leads into the early steps of projects and forecast them as potential wins
  • Coordinate with identified UR distributors to complete remaining steps in the sales process, driving all the way to close per rules of engagement.
  • Use UR’s sales tools (e.g. CRM) and methodology to effectively manage customer and opportunity data


Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

Ideally you come with a Bachelors/Masters’ Degree in Business or Engineering combined with a minimum of 5 years sales experience within robotics or factory automation industry to promote capital equipment solution to end-users by leveraging system integration knowledge.


In Addition, You Have

  • Excellent communication and strong relationship building skills– wanting to meet new customers
  • Experience with structured sales, budgets, pipeline management
  • A disciplined behavior, experience in setting own goals, self-monitoring key metrics and holding yourself accountable
  • A tremendous drive, passion and energy to seek out new sales
  • Experience in selling robotic components as part of larger projects or solution
  • Previous distribution sales experience a plus
  • High proficiency in English
  • Travelling up to 60-80% domestically

  • 深耕电子行业通过提升当地终端用户购买意愿来开发新的商业机会。
  • 通过电话拜访,为目标终端用户提供新的线索,并识别基于优傲机器人的解决方案来确定有效的商业机会。
  • 针对销售痛点跟进后续销售会议来验证商业线索。
  • 从商机转化为早期项目,并能预测项目的成功潜力。
  • 与优傲经销商合作共同完成销售过程促成销售达成。
  • 使用优傲的销售工具(例如CRM)和销售方法来有效地管理客户和商业机会数据


任职资格、经验、技能和教育背景

  • /硕士学位,在机器人或自动化行业至少有5年向终端用户推广设备解决方案的销售经验。

  • 有结构化销售、预算、渠道管理经验
